Founder and CEO
Investing in people. Transforming communities. Leading with heart.
Dr. Tyre’ Jenkins, a Baton Rouge, Louisiana native, is a passionate advocate for education, mentorship, and ministry, believing that true service comes through uplifting others. For over a decade, he has dedicated himself to mentoring students, particularly Black boys, helping them break through societal barriers and embrace their full potential. In 2016, he founded Coaching Kings, Inc., a nonprofit organization focused on academic enrichment, mentorship, and soul care. Through this initiative, he mentored over 50 young people, providing them with the guidance, support, and encouragement needed to succeed. Though he has since moved on from the organization, his dedication to mentorship remains unwavering, as he continues to support many of his former students and their families throughout his journey.
A lifelong learner, Dr. Jenkins holds a Bachelor of Arts in English, Literature, and Languages from Southeastern Louisiana University, a Master of Education in Leadership and Policy Studies from the University of Kansas, and a Doctorate in Educational Leadership in Urban Education from Xavier University of Louisiana. His research explores the impact of single Black mothers on their sons’ academic success, reinforcing his commitment to Black male achievement, Black parental involvement, and mentorship. In addition to his work in education, Dr. Jenkins has a deep love for ministry, using faith and service as guiding principles in his work.
