Lester "Baba" & Mildred Jenkins Memorial Scholarship
The Lester “Baba” & Mildred Jenkins Memorial Scholarship honors the legacy of two pillars of faith, family, and education whose lives were rooted in service and community uplift. This scholarship supports high school students who embody their values of perseverance, leadership, and a commitment to making a positive impact.
Eligibility Criteria

Must be a senior.

Applicants must have a minimum 3.0 cumulative GPA.

Applicants must demonstrate a record of community involvement (e.g., volunteering, service projects, leadership roles).

Applicants must plan to enroll in a two- or four-year accredited college or university for the Fall 2026 semester.

Applicants must submit a 3-minute video responding to a prompt and complete all application materials.

Submit a 3-minute video explaining how your education and service to your community have influenced your goals, and how this scholarship would support the difference you hope to make.

Recommendation Letter
Two letters from a teacher, counselor, or community leader who can speak to the applicant’s academic achievements and service work.

Official high school transcript to verify GPA and coursework.
