2025 Lester "Baba" & Mildred Jenkins Memorial Scholarship Recipients 

Last year, Dr. Tyre’ Jenkins advanced the legacy of his grandparents through the Lester “Baba” & Mildred Jenkins Memorial Scholarship by awarding five Louisiana students a total of $15,000 in scholarships and five MacBook laptops. These resources provided each scholar with both financial support and the tools needed to pursue their academic goals with confidence. Through this investment, Dr. Jenkins continues to honor his family’s values of education, opportunity, and community uplift while empowering the next generation of leaders.
